Representatives of telecommunications companies in the province, including Viettel, VNPT, MobiFone and FPT, said that the main reason for the problems with online teaching and learning was due to the breakage of two submarine optical cables (AAG and AAE-1). This problem has not been resolved yet, causing the internet bandwidth from Vietnam to international networks to be reduced by up to 50%.
Zoom Meeting or Microsoft Teams software has servers located abroad. These are also software used by many countries, so accessing a large number of accounts at the same time is difficult.
Schools should research and use software and online teaching platforms from domestic telecommunications units and businesses to minimize incidents during the teaching process.
