Duong Cam Lynh admitted to false advertising

Duong Cam Lynh said that after receiving public feedback regarding the advertisement posted on May 18 with incorrect information, the actress deleted the post and said she would learn from her experience in the future.

"I just returned from Thailand and received this information. The advertisement about calcium colostrum advertised on my fanpage was posted by my assistant and there was a mistake in the time. After returning to Vietnam and discovering the incident, I removed the post and canceled the advertisement," she shared.

Duong Cam Lynh said that before accepting an advertisement for the calcium colostrum product, she carefully researched its origin, source and related documents.

Previously, on May 18, Duong Cam Lynh posted an advertisement for Korean calcium colostrum on her fanpage with more than 760,000 followers. The post was accompanied by pictures of Duong Cam Lynh and her son at two points in time: October 2022 and May 2023. However, some people discovered that the first picture had an incorrect time.

Specifically, the photo posted by Duong Cam Lynh and mentioning the October 2022 time frame is actually a photo taken at the actress's birthday event in October 2020.

In addition, the advertisement for calcium colostrum contains many exaggerated contents about the effects of functional foods.

In January, the Ministry of Health sent a dispatch requesting the Ministry of Information and Communications to strengthen inspection, supervision, and strictly handle organizations and individuals advertising products that have the effect of medicine but are not medicine; advertising drugs that have not been licensed for circulation; and advertising drugs that have not been confirmed by a competent state management agency.

Duong Cam Lynh was born in 1982, and entered the film industry thanks to her runner-up award in 1999. She is a familiar actress on the small screen in the South. Her filmography includes dozens of leading roles in television and movies. The films Duong Cam Lynh has participated in include Blood Mask, Life Waves, Wildflowers, Maybe We Love Each Other... After breaking up with her overseas Vietnamese boyfriend, Duong Cam Lynh raised her child alone.
