On December 25, the Investigation Police Agency of Uong Bi City Police (Quang Ninh) announced that it had decided to prosecute the case, prosecuting 17 defendants for the crimes of organizing gambling, gambling, and gambling.

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation in the area, Uong Bi City Police discovered at the house of Do Trang Cong (born in 1985, in group 5, zone 3, Vang Danh ward) signs of organizing gambling and gambling activities of a group of subjects residing in Vang Danh ward.

According to reconnaissance documents, this group of subjects colluded with groups of subjects from localities in Hai Duong province and Ha Long city (Quang Ninh) to organize gambling activities. The methods and tricks of the subjects were very sophisticated to deal with the authorities, such as choosing a location as a house built independently on an empty hill, with only one main entrance, no neighbors around; clearly assigning the role of organizer, guard, and alarm; only organizing gambling after 9:00 p.m.

Determined to eradicate the above social evils, the leaders of Uong Bi City Police have directed the Criminal Police Team to develop a plan to combat, arrest, and handle them.
