On the morning of January 21, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Tu Ky district (Hai Duong) coordinated with the Provincial General Hospital to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival for the Education Sector for the 2023-2024 school year.
With the message “Donate blood – Give life”, this year’s Tu Ky Education Sector Blood Donation Festival attracted more than 400 volunteers who are officials, teachers and staff in the district to register to donate blood. At the end of the festival, the organizing committee received 253 units of blood.
This is a meaningful activity held annually to encourage cadres and teachers in Tu Ky district to participate in voluntary blood donation, supplementing blood sources to meet the treatment needs of patients.
It is expected that from now until the end of the year, the District Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee will organize 3 more blood donation campaigns, striving to collect 1,000 units of blood this year.
