Located about 80km from the center of Cao Bang city, Vinh Quy grass hill (also known as Ba Quang grass hill) is located on the border between Khum Din hamlet and Bac Vong hamlet, in Vinh Quy commune, Ha Lang district, Cao Bang province. To get to Vinh Quy grass hill, visitors travel from Cao Bang city to Thanh Nhat town, then continue northeast to Vinh Quy commune. The road is paved with concrete so it is quite convenient, about 6-7km from the grass hill, visitors can travel by motorbike or car. At the intersection of Khum Din hamlet, about 3km from Vinh Quy commune People's Committee, visitors turn right onto the small concrete road and continue for about 3km to reach this grass hill area.
Many travel enthusiasts who have been to Vinh Quy grass hill said that because the terrain here is characterized by high and winding hills, if traveling by personal vehicle, visitors need to have good driving skills or should find local people or tour guides to lead the way.
