To attract tourists and promote the image of Ninh Binh tourism, the tourism industry of Ninh Binh province has depicted the painting "Ly Ngu Vong Nguyet" covering an area of over 9,500 square meters on the poetic rice fields of Tam Coc.
The painting vividly depicts a pair of carp with healthy bodies playing with the moonlight using rice plants to pray for a year of peace, favorable weather, and bountiful crops.
To create the painting, farmers in Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district joined with experts to carefully calculate the planting time, create plots, and shape the blocks to create the unique artistic painting "Fish watching the moon" in the middle of the winding and poetic Ngo Dong river.
