Ba Ria - Vung Tau tourism revenue on National Day reached over 90 billion VND

On National Day, September 2, the weather in Ba Ria - Vung Tau continued to be affected by storm No. 3 (storm Saola) with rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, causing difficulties. This affected the travel, sightseeing, entertainment, and experiences of tourists.

Boats and canoes continue to stop operating, and tourists cannot participate in ecological tours of forests and seas. The locality most affected by storm No. 3 is Con Dao.

However, on September 2, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province also welcomed more than 181,000 visitors (an increase of more than 52% over the same period), with total tourism revenue reaching more than 90 billion VND (an increase of nearly 15% over the same period).

The leader of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that the security and order situation on September 2 was well ensured. There was no haggling, competition for customers, or price gouging.

In particular, the organization of rescue and warning of danger to tourists was maintained continuously, so during the two National Day holidays, there were no drowning accidents.

Before the National Day holiday, the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and key tourist localities of the province have had detailed plans to ensure security, order and safety for tourists.
