The production and business situation of FDI enterprises in Hai Duong province in the first 6 months of 2024 has improved a lot, with revenue increasing by 12.5%.

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, in the first 6 months of 2024, the revenue of FDI enterprises (enterprises with foreign direct investment) in Hai Duong reached 4.5 billion USD, an increase of 12.5% over the same period last year.
The export value of FDI enterprises reached 4.2 billion USD, up 38.8%, and imports reached 3 billion USD, up 20% over the same period in 2023. FDI enterprises paid the state budget 240 million USD, up 6% over the same period last year.
In Hai Duong, there are 566 valid FDI projects from 27 countries and territories with a total registered capital of nearly 10.5 billion USD. Of which, the realized investment capital is nearly 9 billion USD. Currently, there are 485 projects operating in production and business, creating direct jobs for 230,000 direct workers and thousands of indirect workers.
In 2024, Hai Duong strives to attract 500 million USD in FDI capital, with realized investment capital of 850 million USD. Revenue of FDI enterprises will reach 9 billion USD, contributing over 500 million USD to the state budget.
