In the context of many difficulties in the world and in the country, the revenue of FDI enterprises in Hai Duong is still positive.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the revenue of foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in Hai Duong in the first 9 months of 2023 is estimated at 5.8 billion USD, up 20.8% over the same period last year. This is a positive growth rate in the context of many difficulties in the world and the country, FDI enterprises are facing problems such as labor shortage, high production costs, etc.
The export value of FDI enterprises is estimated at 4.8 billion USD, up 14.3%; the import value is estimated at 3.7 billion USD, up 23.3% compared to the same period in 2022. Taxes and payments to the state budget are estimated at 330 million USD, up 10%.
Up to now, Hai Duong has 445 FDI projects in production and business, creating jobs for more than 230,000 people and tens of thousands of indirect workers.
