PSG is rated much higher than Brest. Facing a familiar opponent in Ligue 1, coach Luis Enrique's team had no difficulty dominating the game.

The turning point of the match came in the 17th minute, when Dembele's shot hit midfielder Lees-Melou's hand in the penalty area. The referee awarded PSG a penalty and on the 11m mark, Vitinha easily fooled goalkeeper Bizot to put the French capital team ahead.

After missing several chances, Dembele finally got his own goal at the end of the first half. During a PSG counter-attack, Hakimi passed the ball for Dembele to turn in and shoot towards the near corner, making it 2-0.

In the 66th minute, the former Barca player completed his own double, thereby sealing a 3-0 victory for the away team.

This result helps the French rich team to have one foot in the round of 16 of this year's Champions League. The second leg between PSG and Brest will take place at the Parc des Princes on February 19.
