Invest 1.2 billion VND to renovate the tomb of Ba Boi Lang

The People's Committee of Binh Lang Commune (Tu Ky) will invest 1.2 billion VND from the commune budget and socialized resources to restore the tomb of Mrs. Boi Lang. The project has been appraised by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong.

The tomb of Mrs. Boi Lang in Binh Lang commune (Tu Ky) has been degraded.

Accordingly, all items including stone mausoleums, stone tombs, incense burners, stone dragons, and stone stele will be dismantled. Then, natural monolithic stones will be added to the mausoleum area, some lost columns, cracked and broken roofs, and cracked roofs will be patched. The yard will be raised 0.9 m higher. The railing system will be repaired, and the flower beds will be rebuilt... The project will be carried out this year.

Mrs. Boi Lang was born in the mid-17th century and died in 1721 in Binh Lang village, Tu Ky district, Ha Hong prefecture (now Binh Lang commune, Tu Ky). She spent her own money to build roads, stone bridges, donated a lot of land, and helped the poor...

Many items of the mausoleum were damaged and broken.

Her tomb was built in 1720, and has not been renovated since then, and is seriously degraded.

The relic was ranked provincial level by Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee in 2016.
