By the end of March, Tuan Tu Trading Company Limited in Kim Thanh District had completed the remediation of the environmental protection works as required by the authorities. The company will continue to conduct a trial production for 6 months to inspect and evaluate the quality of the environmental protection items after completion. If the criteria and standards in the license are met, the company will be considered for resumption of operations.

Previously, in January 2023, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct Tuan Tu Company to temporarily suspend operations in the production stage that generates emissions and fully comply with environmental protection requirements after inspection and examination according to people's feedback. In February 2023, the Provincial People's Committee requested Tuan Tu Company to temporarily suspend operations to correct violations. The company has invested more than 10 billion VND to upgrade and renovate the dust filtration system, exhaust gas treatment, wastewater treatment, waste collection, etc.

By September 2023, the Provincial People's Committee allowed Tuan Tu Company to resume trial production to serve the acceptance and evaluation of the effectiveness of environmental protection works. At the same time, the enterprise was required to complete environmental licensing procedures. In February 2024, the company was granted an environmental license by the Provincial People's Committee. After that, the company continued to conduct trial operations to evaluate and review the operation of environmental protection works and equipment.

Tuan Tu Company was established in 2007, producing and trading in fertilizers, agricultural products and agricultural materials. The company built a factory on an area of ​​nearly 5 hectares in Dong Cam commune (Kim Thanh). Every year, the company produces 15,000 tons of inorganic fertilizers, 3,500 tons of organic fertilizers, trades about 9,400 tons of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and purchases 600 tons of agricultural products.
