In the capital Tel Aviv, the Israeli company 1MRobotics is boosting online shopping by using robots to replace employees.

These robots can move around the warehouse and select products according to customer requirements.

Mr. Eyal Yair, co-founder and CEO of 1MRobotics, said that to meet customers' needs for quick delivery, the company decided to deploy robots integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) to help shorten delivery times.

If previously delivery time was shortened from 2 days to 1 day, then to 2 hours, now 1MRobotics is considering "lightning-fast" delivery in just about 10 minutes.

The special thing is that the robot can work at full capacity in the warehouse. This warehouse has a door that opens onto the street.

Here, employees collect customers' online orders and then pass them on to robots.

As soon as the order information is received, the robot starts moving, picking the products according to the order and packing them, including fresh items such as fruits, vegetables and frozen products.

Employees simply add new goods to the warehouse and ship the packaged goods to customers who have placed orders.

CEO Eyal Yair said that while many robots are already being used to pack products at major supermarkets around the world, 1MRobotics' small warehouses are helping the company become a "pioneer" in "lightning-fast" delivery.

The company is also building shipping containers and these containers act as mini warehouses.

The company is planning to soon expand its cooperation with a wine shop in Brazil, small supermarkets in Germany and a phone company in South Africa.
