Tu Ky police prosecuted 3 drug cases "hidden" in the form of CBD essential oil

Typically, at 12:00 on March 8, 2024, the Criminal Police, Economic and Drug Police Team of Tu Ky District Police coordinated to patrol and control in Hung Dao Commune and discovered Pham Thi Thu Trang (born in 2004, residing in Ha Hai Village, Ha Ky Commune), PTNL (born in 2008) and NTK (born in 2008, both residing in Minh Duc Commune, Tu Ky District) standing at the gate of O Me Village Park, Hung Dao Commune, showing suspicious signs, so they proceeded to check.

Upon inspection, Lan voluntarily handed over two white cylindrical plastic bottles containing a yellow liquid. Trang, L., and K. all admitted that the yellow liquid in the two plastic bottles was a drug in the form of CBD oil that they brought to sell to a person with the Facebook account “Pham Tien Thanh” for profit.

During the verification process, the authorities determined that on March 7, 2024, Trang was the person who contacted Nguyen Tuan Linh (born in 2001, in Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong city) to buy bottles containing drugs "hidden" in the form of CBD essential oil.

At 7:20 p.m. on March 8, 2024, Tu Ky District Police coordinated to summon Nguyen Tuan Linh. Here, Linh voluntarily handed over 8 cylindrical plastic bottles containing yellow liquid. Linh confessed that the liquid inside the plastic bottles was drugs "hidden" in the form of CBD essential oil and kept it to sell for profit.

According to a representative of Tu Ky District Police, recently, cases related to illegal drug trafficking "hidden" in the form of CBD essential oil are showing signs of increasing. When using this type of drug, it will cause hallucinations and stimulate the central nervous system.
