YEG increased to its full range in today's session following the echoes of the concert 'Anh trai vu ngan cong gai' in Hung Yen, with 2.6 million units changed hands.
After several previous shaky sessions, Yeah1 Group's YEG stock hit its ceiling price of VND15,600 per unit and held until the end of the session. This is the highest level since mid-April 2022.
YEG liquidity reached nearly VND40 billion with nearly 2.6 million units traded. This level is nearly double the average volume in the past 52 weeks. More than 57% of matched orders came from active buyers.
Yeah1 shares hit the ceiling following the buzz of the concert for the show "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" in Hung Yen on December 14. The organizers have not announced the number of tickets sold, but the tickets that were put on sale were sold out in 40 minutes. The management board of Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 and 3 - the concert venue - said it welcomed more than 130,000 visitors on the day of the concert.
YEG's market value has been on the rise since the producer held a concert in Ho Chi Minh City with a scale of about 20,000 people in mid-October. Since then, Yeah1's stock price has increased by more than 52%. In addition, the company's "Beautiful Sister Pedaling the Wind" program, which is currently airing, has also attracted many viewers.
YEG is one of 9 purple stocks on the HoSE, along with STG, ABS, FIR, GSP, HVH, PAC, SGT and PJT. All are stocks with small and medium capitalization, with the highest liquidity reaching tens of billions of VND.
This is the group that went against the trend in the session when VN-Index returned to red. At the beginning of the trading session, the market was still above the reference level but the sporadic demand caused stocks to quickly fall. The HoSE index was dyed red almost throughout the session.
VN-Index closed at nearly 1,262 points, down more than 2 points compared to yesterday. More than half of the stocks on the HoSE fell, mainly in the technology, oil and gas, and retail groups. FPT was the code that contributed the most to the market's decline.
Liquidity decreased by more than VND700 billion, to about VND12,100 billion. Foreign investors continued to net sell for the 7th consecutive session. Net selling value increased sharply to about VND669 billion, with the focus on FPT when this code was still hovering around the peak price area.
