Thanks to positive developments in real estate, banking and securities stocks, the market increased by more than 8.5 points.
The HoSE index opened with inertia below the reference level but was quickly pulled up. Demand began to find the construction and real estate groups, although not overwhelming, it was still enough to dye this index green. However, the cash flow participating in the market was quite thin so the VN-Index did not increase strongly. At around 11am, the stock market continued to experience fluctuations.
A few minutes after the lunch break, the HoSE index was given more momentum to move above the reference. After 14 hours, increased liquidity with the dominant demand helped the market improve strongly. The VN-Index closed the session at nearly 1,277 points, up more than 8.5 points compared to yesterday.
The Ho Chi Minh City market had 256 stocks increasing in price, while only 119 stocks decreased. The VN30 basket had 25 green stocks, the representative index also increased by nearly 10 points.
By industry, real estate is the leading group in terms of cash flow and performance. KBC is the only stock with liquidity of hundreds of billions that increased dramatically. This stock closed at 28,200 VND, and is said to have benefited from the news that Kinh Bac's subsidiary proposed that Trump Group invest in Hung Yen. In addition, many other important stocks in this industry also increased, such as VHM, PDR, KDH, DXG, IDC...
Similarly, most of the banking sector's pillar stocks accumulated market value. This sector occupied 7 positions in the group of 10 stocks contributing the most to the increase of VN-Index including BID, MBB, STB, VCB, VPB, VIB and TCB. Of which, STB recorded the largest liquidity in the market (nearly 781 billion VND) and increased by 3.4%. VIB closed 3.2% above the reference.
Along with the score, liquidity on the HoSE floor increased by more than 5,000 billion, to about 17,900 billion VND. Cash flow mainly poured into the second half of the session.
Excluding the above negotiated transactions, foreign investors maintained a good momentum in stock accumulation, focusing on MWG, MSB and STB.
