Midfielder Rogerio China said goodbye to Nam Dinh Club today (March 4) even though he only signed a contract with the team from January 2025. The Brazilian player has not played any matches in the V.League and National Cup for the team in the South.

Due to having to compete in the AFC Champions League Two (Asian Cup C2), Nam Dinh Club decided to invest heavily by registering 9 foreign players. The reigning V.League champion accepted that some foreign players had to sit out the domestic arena, as teams are only allowed to register 5 foreign players in each V.League match.

Nam Dinh FC was eliminated from the Asian Cup after losing to Sanfrence Hiroshima. Therefore, they can only use a maximum of 5 foreign players in the domestic arena. The remaining 4 players will not have any chance to play. In addition, Nam Dinh also had to stop early in the National Cup. Rogerio China only had time to play 2 matches in the AFC Champions League Two before leaving.

In fact, the Brazilian midfielder's performance is highly appreciated. He plays with technique, has good speed and can bring about breakthroughs. Rogerio China was the bright spot of Nam Dinh in the 2 heavy losses against the Japanese opponent. However, Nam Dinh still has to prioritize the central midfielders and strikers, especially when Nguyen Xuan Son is injured and has to sit out the rest of the season.

In recent days, Nam Dinh Club has received many requests to transfer foreign players. Hai Phong Club wants to borrow midfielder Joseph Mpande. However, coach Vu Hong Viet still wants to keep the Ugandan player because of his versatility. He can play as a center back, midfielder and even a striker when needed.

In addition, Binh Dinh is said to want to borrow midfielder Hendrio Araujo. However, the problem lies in the cost to pay for the Brazilian attacking midfielder. Hendrio's income is very high and beyond the financial capacity of Binh Dinh Club. Meanwhile, the home team Nam Dinh does not charge a "loan" fee but wants the partner to pay all of Hendrio's income.

Nam Dinh Club has big ambitions so it had to replace Hendrio with better options like Romulo or Caio Cesar in midfield. Meanwhile, Brenner is the replacement for Nguyen Xuan Son in attack. Currently, Nam Dinh Club is still leading the rankings with 30 points.
