Out there, flowers are honoring writers, because they, with their souls, have made the pages of newspapers continue to bloom.
Sitting here quietly, facing the computer with the dancing words. Each word that appears is a corner of the journalist's soul that is restless because of life's urge. I don't know how many people are doing the same. I don't know how many people have the habit of quietly talking to themselves in the dark of night. Then, the following days, those lively, hot words are presented neatly and beautifully on the newspaper, reaching the readers.
Some people say that being a writer is an easy job. But that is not true, and surely many journalists who are still working hard to make words bloom on the newspaper also think that it is not true. It is a hard job.
Honestly, when I first entered university, like many others, I had very “rosy” thoughts about journalism, that I could go to many places, bring information to many people and be known by many people. It was not until I entered the profession that I truly understood that journalism was more difficult than I initially thought. Difficult but fun. In each step of accompanying the words and life, surely everyone will find joy in their work. For me, those are trips to immerse myself in the sounds of life, to learn and experience many interesting things.
I write with emotions flowing from reality, because without reality I cannot write well. Reality pours into my heart the authenticity, the faces of life, the faces of life, through which I can filter what I see and hear so that I can write more, better.
In any profession, youth is always an advantage. Journalism requires the enthusiasm of youth. The advantage here is youth, passion and love of discovery. Journalism is a profession that requires commitment, "hearing with your own ears, seeing with your own eyes" to get accurate, objective and honest information. Therefore, young journalists need to "pack up and go" to explore, to find topics that are of great public interest and social impact. Because of their young age and certainly not much working experience, when embarking on a topic, especially a sensitive topic, a cool head is needed. When venturing into an environment that is unfamiliar in every way, the question for young journalists is to understand what they are doing and who benefits?
This summer is very special. Every year, the purple flowers, royal poinciana flowers, and butterfly pea flowers bloom brilliantly, but this year, the summer flowers are more vibrant, more passionate, and more emotional. That's why so many people have dressed up, painted their cheeks red to compete with the flowers. Everyone feels like they haven't taken enough pictures, and time is passing too quickly. It's so fast that they regret not having more time with the flowers. But then they realize that they can't waste time. Every meaningless moment will sink into oblivion. So we want to take advantage of every hour, every minute to together distill the beauty of life, of faith and love for people, so that this life will become more and more beautiful. And this June, the beautiful June of those who work in this profession, out there, thousands of flowers are honoring the writers, because they, with their souls, have made the pages of the newspaper continue to bloom.
