The first baby was born on the first day of Tet at Hai Duong Maternity Hospital

According to the investigation of Hai Duong Newspaper reporter, at 0:54 on February 10 (the first day of Tet), that is, less than 1 hour after the New Year's Eve to welcome the new year of Giap Thin 2024, Ms. Pham Thi Huong (born in 1996, from Pham Kha commune, Thanh Mien district) gave birth to a baby girl weighing 3.3 kg, named Nguyen Ngoc Minh Chau.

Baby Minh Chau became the first citizen to be born at Hai Duong Obstetrics Hospital in the year of Giap Thin 2024. Previously, Ms. Huong went into labor and was admitted to the hospital at 12:15 on February 9 (December 29).

The healthy birth of a baby girl on the first day of the new year made Ms. Huong and her family happy and excited. The health of the mother and child is currently stable and they are expected to be discharged in the next 1-2 days.

According to the reporter's investigation, from New Year's Eve to 3pm on the first day of Tet, 14 babies were born at Hai Duong Maternity Hospital. All mothers and babies are in stable health.

During the 2024 Tet holiday, Hai Duong Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital will maintain 4 levels of duty, ready to receive patients and pregnant women.
