Cam Ly speaks out about rumors of wanting to retire

Cam Ly shared that she does not focus on musical expertise and knows that the contestants do not focus on winning or losing, but want to spread positive messages and meaningful things when adapting to the Covid-19 pandemic. Regarding the criteria for selecting contestants, "Tu" does not focus on expertise but will score contestants based on spirit, story and some other factors.

Talking about the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, Cam Ly said that although her work was delayed, she still felt luckier than many people because she was able to stay at home and strictly follow the instructions. The singer of "Pho Hoa" was quite sad because her health was poor, so she could not participate in volunteer activities to prevent the epidemic.

Cam Ly confided: “I really admire you guys for joining the frontline forces against the epidemic. I believe you are also proud of yourself when your youth can contribute to society and see life as more meaningful.”

Unable to join other artists in supporting people amid the pandemic, the singer regularly sends necessities such as rice, instant noodles, and medical masks to district unions in the city. She also contributed to the cost of supporting the fight against the pandemic from the early days of the outbreak.

Cam Ly has no plans to retire

Currently, Cam Ly suffers from sinus disease which affects both her health and her singing voice. There is a lot of information on social media that Cam Ly wants to retire because of the disease, making fans feel regretful. However, the female singer confirmed that she has no plans to retire.

“I have no plans to retire. While I was sick, I rarely performed but was a judge for some shows. And now that my throat has recovered, I am gradually returning to shows and singing,” Cam Ly said.
