Cam Giang upgrades district central square

The project to upgrade the central square of Cam Giang district will be invested and constructed in 2023 and 2024. In particular, from the third quarter of 2023, the project will carry out investment preparation procedures and be deployed on the field from the beginning of March 2024. To date, the contractors have completed nearly 40% of the work volume.

The total investment capital of the project is 14,667 billion VND from the district budget; the investor is the Cam Giang District Construction Investment Project Management Board. The project is being accelerated to complete in September 2024, to meet the requirements of urban beautification of Lai Cach town core.

Cam Giang district is building the expanded Lai Cach core urban area to meet the criteria of a type IV urban area by 2025. The expanded Lai Cach town has invested in upgrading a number of infrastructure works and urban embellishment such as lighting systems, decorative lights, welcome gates, central squares, sidewalks, and inner-city drainage systems.
