Singer Thuy Tien made a charity trip to Ky Son district (Nghe An), a locality that suffered heavy damage from storm No. 4.
On the afternoon of October 12, Thuy Tien posted pictures of her charity trip to support people affected by floods in Nghe An. The female singer directly visited and presented 360 million VND to households in Binh Son 1 village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district to build 6 houses after the flash flood.

Regarding the method of support, the amount of 360 million VND was established by Thuy Tien in 6 savings books at the Social Policy Bank of Ky Son district and given to 6 households. People withdrawing money to build houses will be under the supervision of local authorities and the Social Policy Bank of the district.
Thuy Tien shared the reason for opening a savings book instead of giving cash because she wanted people to feel secure during the process of moving to the resettlement area to avoid storms and floods. The singer hoped that the money would be used to support households to build solid houses to live in after their houses were swept away by floods.
Thuy Tien shared that the empty land where she was standing was the foundation of her house. When the flood came, large rocks crashed into the floor and the base of the house, sweeping away everything, even the remains of the house. She said that the hill above the source of the flow is cracking, and it is likely that after a few more rains, it will collapse. The local government is preparing to relocate people to build houses in a new resettlement area to avoid casualties when natural disasters cause the mountain to crack and collapse.
