According to Hai Duong Newspaper reporters, the students' lunch on November 10th included the following dishes: braised minced meat, scrambled eggs, pumpkin soup, sesame salt, stir-fried bean sprouts with meat, and white rice. These dishes were in accordance with the menu posted by the school.

Soup and rice are served in communal bowls, sesame salt is in a box, and the remaining dishes are divided into separate plates for each student.

Previously, on November 3, images appeared on social media reflecting that the meals at Nam Sach Town Primary School were not guaranteed, and students were not given food on separate trays.

Speaking to Hai Duong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Pham Quang Dai, Principal of Nam Sach Town Primary School, said that after receiving feedback, the school quickly accepted and divided food into separate plates for each student, with only rice, soup, and sesame salt served together.

Mr. Dai said that Nam Sach Town Primary School currently serves meals for about 280 students, mainly first graders. The school has an on-site kitchen, employs 2 cooks, 1 waiter and does not use meal delivery services from other units. The cost of a meal is 17,000 VND/student, including seasonings and excluding fuel. Regarding the quality of meals, Mr. Dai affirmed that the school has maintained and ensured it as before.
On November 7, Chairman of Nam Sach District People's Committee Ho Ngoc Lam signed a decision to establish an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect the organization of boarding meals for the 2023-2024 school year at Nam Sach Town Primary School. According to the decision, the inspection team is responsible for inspecting the boarding meals at this school from September 5 to November 5 and synthesizing the inspection results, proposing to the Chairman of the District People's Committee to handle according to their authority if any limitations or violations are detected.

Then, on November 9, the People's Committee of Nam Sach district issued an official dispatch on strengthening food safety and improving the quality of boarding meals for students, requiring schools to ensure the quality of boarding meals.
