The East Sea may welcome a tropical depression in the next few days, the weather in the Central region is extremely bad.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, a low-pressure area is likely to form in the southern part of the East Sea in the next 2-3 days, causing thunderstorms and the risk of strong gusts of wind in the central and southern areas of the East Sea.

The meteorological agency does not rule out the possibility that the cyclone could strengthen into a tropical depression, increasing bad weather conditions in the Central and Southern regions of the East Sea during this time. This low pressure area combined with East wind disturbances and strong cold air will cause bad weather across the country, especially in the Central provinces.

In addition, in the coming days, our country will also be affected by increased cold air, most notably the strong cold air wave from November 4-7.

This cold air mass will cause the North and Central regions of the East Sea to have strong Northeast winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, waves increasing from 2-4m high, and rough seas.

On land, the low pressure area will also interact with the cold air and East wind disturbances, causing an especially heavy rain in the Central provinces from November 3-10.

Northern provinces are also strongly affected by cold air and easterly winds in early November.

It is forecasted that from around the night of November 4, the North may experience the first cold spell of the winter of 2024-2025 with very low temperatures, and the mountainous areas of the North may experience localized cold.

Also around November 4-5, cold air combined with easterly wind disturbances also caused scattered rain in the North, making the weather gloomy and the feeling of cold increasing.

It is forecasted that after this cold spell, the North will continue to receive consecutive cold air waves, causing the cold weather to last for the first days of November.
