On the afternoon of May 13, Hai Duong Provincial Museum coordinated with Sao Bien Kindergarten (Hai Duong City) to organize the program "Young Champion learns about the history of the Eastern Region".
Sao Bien Kindergarten students enjoy experiencing traditional snacks
350 students of Sao Bien Kindergarten experienced folk games, traditional dishes, sightseeing and learning at the Provincial Museum. Many students, teachers and parents of the school participated in the contest "Young Champion learns about the history of the Eastern Region". The contest consisted of 2 rounds, round 1 included questions about the homeland, President Ho Chi Minh; round 2 tested knowledge about traffic safety.
Sao Bien Kindergarten students visit the provincial museum
The contest aims to educate students about traditional values, raise awareness of respect, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values. Thereby forming the habit of approaching research and learning about local history and culture through cultural heritage at the Museum, contributing to innovation in teaching and learning methods of local history.
This is a practical activity to celebrate International Museum Day (May 18) and the 133rd anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).
