Typhoon Krathon devastates Kaohsiung City (Taiwan)
At noon on October 3, Typhoon Krathon (Typhoon No. 5) made landfall in the port city of Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan (China), with sustained winds of 126 km/h, causing the roofs of many houses to be blown off.
