In the next 72 hours, storm No. 5 may weaken into a tropical depression.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 a.m. on October 2, the center of the storm was at about 21.7 degrees North latitude; 119.3 degrees East longitude, in the northeastern sea of the North East Sea area.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 14-15 (150-183km/h), gusting over level 17; moving in the West Northwest direction, speed about 5km/h.
According to current forecasts, the storm is unlikely to affect coastal and inland areas of our country.
From the next 72 to 96 hours, the tropical depression moved mainly in the North-Northwest direction at about 10km per hour and weakened into a low pressure area.
Forecast under the impact of the storm, the northeastern sea area of the North East Sea (north of latitude 18.5N; east of longitude 117.0E) will have strong winds of level 9-11, near the storm center of level 13-15, gusts above level 17, waves 8.0-10.0m high; rough seas.
