According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 a.m. on October 1, the center of the storm was at about 20.6 degrees North latitude, 119.8 degrees East longitude, in the northeastern sea of ​​the North East Sea.

The strongest wind near the storm center is level 16 (184-201km/h), gusting over level 17. The storm moves in a West Northwest direction at a speed of about 5km/h.

It is forecasted that in the next 24 to 72 hours, the storm is unlikely to affect coastal and mainland areas of our country.

Due to the impact of storm No. 5, the northeastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea (north of latitude 18.0N, east of longitude 116.5E) will have strong winds of level 10-13, near the storm center of level 14-16, gusting above level 17, waves 7.0-9.0m high; rough seas.

Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
