Handing over 'comradeship' houses to disadvantaged members before Tet

The family of veteran Luong Van Bot in Dai Son commune (Tu Ky) can rest assured to celebrate Lunar New Year in a new house built with support from the Hai Duong Province Veterans Association.

Hai Duong Province Veterans Association awarded funding to support the construction of a "comradely love" house for Mr. Luong Van Bot.

On January 14, the Hai Duong Province Veterans Association presented funding to support the construction and inauguration of a “comradely love” house for Mr. Luong Van Bot’s family in Phuong Quat village, Dai Son commune (Tu Ky). This is the first house of love to be handed over in 2025 and is a Tet gift for a veteran’s family in difficult circumstances.

Mr. Luong Van Bot (70 years old) is a veteran in difficult circumstances and a victim of Agent Orange. Mr. Bot and his wife are old, sick and unable to work. For many years, Mr. Bot and his wife have lived in a small, dilapidated, unsafe level 4 house. Building a house for his family is extremely difficult.

Thanks to the support of the Provincial Veterans Association, Mr. Bot and his wife were able to have a new house in time to celebrate Tet. The house was built about 60 m wide.2, cold-rolled roofing and full ancillary works. The construction cost over 130 million VND, of which the Provincial Veterans Association supported 80 million VND, the rest was supported by family members. With a new house, Mr. Bot and his wife can celebrate Tet with peace of mind.
