Depending on the area cared for, this year's root crop yields the same or less than last year, estimated at around 2 tons/ha.The roots are transported from the field and wait for sunny days to dry.People divide it into small bundles and dry it on a large area of land to dry quickly.In nice, sunny weather, it only needs to be dried for about 2-3 days, then the roots are beaten to remove the leaves.And knead like this to make the leaves and roots fall off. About 2 kg of fresh roots after drying, pound the leaves to get 1 kg of dry roots.This year, the dried roots are sold for 29,000 VND/kg, the same as last year. Traders buy them and then export them to neighboring provinces and cities such as Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang... to make root brooms.After harvest, the fields will reveal old, rough roots.
