Ms. Pham Thi Dao was recognized as "Farmer Scientist" in 2024.

Ms. Pham Thi Dao (born in 1977), currently Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong, was recognized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union with the title "Scientist of Farmers" in 2024.

During her work, Ms. Dao advised the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to carry out tasks related to livestock, veterinary medicine, aquaculture, ensuring food hygiene and safety in the agricultural sector, agricultural extension work, trade promotion... and achieved positive results. Ms. Dao regularly went to the grassroots to grasp the situation, exchange and support farmers in livestock farming.

Ms. Dao has 5 research topics and projects, transferring science and technology in the agricultural sector at the provincial level, which are widely applied in practice. The project "Developing a model of raising ducks specializing in Dai Xuyen TC and TsC eggs according to the value chain in Hai Duong province" won third prize in the Hai Duong Province Technical Innovation Contest in 2023.

Ms. Dao has received many awards from all levels, sectors, and the People's Committee of Hai Duong province; including a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister for her outstanding achievements during her work in 2022.

Ms. Dao is the 6th person from Hai Duong to be recognized with this title.
