The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 6 (39-49 km/h), gusting to level 8, moving in the West Northwest direction at a speed of about 10 km/h.

It is forecasted that by 1 p.m. the same day, the tropical depression in the sea from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai will move at a speed of 10-15 km/h and will not change direction. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression will be at level 6, gusting to level 8.

At about 1:00 a.m. on July 16, the tropical depression moved in the West Northwest direction at a speed of 10-15 km/h and gradually weakened.

Impact of the tropical depression, the northwest sea area of ​​the area between the East Sea and the southwest sea area of ​​the northern East Sea (including the sea area of ​​Hoang Sa archipelago) and the offshore sea area from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai will have showers and thunderstorms, strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8, rough seas.

The sea area from Binh Dinh to Ca Mau, the southern East Sea area (including the sea area of ​​Truong Sa archipelago) has strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8-9, rough seas. The Gulf of Tonkin has strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, rough seas.

The northwest sea area of ​​the area between the East Sea and the southwest sea area of ​​the northern East Sea (including the Hoang Sa archipelago) has waves 2-4m high. The offshore sea area from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai has waves 1.5-3m high.
