In 2021, on his way home from work, Nguyen Nhu Linh (born in 1989 in Van Tue village, Tan Viet commune) unfortunately had a traffic accident and had to undergo multiple surgeries. Due to poor health, he could no longer continue his management job at Tinh Loi Garment Company Limited, so he decided to quit his job.

During his time at home receiving treatment, Mr. Linh spent many nights tossing and turning looking for a new job that was suitable for his health.
He once thought about opening a livestock farm, trading seafood or opening a rice milling facility... Once, by chance, he read information about a mushroom growing model on social networks and decided to learn more and try this new job.

Mr. Linh said: "At first, I considered making a shelf of 20 oyster mushroom spawns before gradually expanding. To gain knowledge about mushroom growing, in addition to going directly to farms in and outside the province to learn from experience, I also looked for information on social networks to implement."

“All beginnings are hard”, because he was not yet proficient in the technique, he once invested in 1,000 mushroom spawns but more than half of them were damaged. Every time he encountered difficulties, Mr. Linh was not discouraged but determined to find out the cause to overcome and learn from the experience.
Gradually, he understood the characteristics of mushrooms, so he was careful right from the stage of choosing raw materials to make the spawn. He focused on investing in modern mushroom growing equipment such as: air conditioners, electrostatic painted iron shelves, tarpaulins, etc.

Mr. Linh shared: “Taking care of mushrooms is like taking care of a baby, you have to monitor the weather changes every hour, every day. If you are not careful, thousands of mushroom spawns will be ruined at the same time,” Mr. Linh said.

Paying attention to the production process and focusing on safe farming, Mr. Linh gradually raised the level of his family's clean mushroom brand. The good news spread far and wide, and in no time, Mr. Linh's family's mushroom brand was known and ordered by restaurants, supermarkets, and people in all the provinces and cities in the North.
Experience has been gradually accumulated, from only 1 shelf with 20 oyster mushroom spawns, now Mr. Linh has expanded to 40,000 mushroom spawns grown in 5 houses with a total area of 200 m2.2On peak days, Mr. Linh's facility sells 500 kg of mushrooms, with an average price of 60,000-70,000 VND/kg.
Not only did he start a successful business, Mr. Linh also created regular jobs for 2 local workers with an average salary of 7-8 million VND/month and 7-10 seasonal workers with a salary of 260,000-300,000 VND/day.
As the market develops, Dieu Linh mushroom facility has grown many other types such as: gray abalone, hydrangea, milk chicken thigh, purple abalone, milk abalone, straw mushrooms... The facility's products are trusted and used by traders and customers near and far.

Not hiding the secret to getting rich, Mr. Linh is willing to share mushroom growing techniques with many people in the commune and district. Many farmers in provinces and cities such as Bac Giang, Hanoi, etc. also come to learn the trade. In the near future, Mr. Linh plans to open more mushroom farms, test growing some new types of mushrooms, and create more jobs for local workers.
Ms. Thai Thi Duy Linh, President of Tan Viet Commune Farmers' Association commented: "Mr. Nguyen Nhu Linh is a typical young farmer who dares to think, dares to do, boldly applies science and technology, approaches the market, develops mushroom growing, and brings high economic value. He also motivates and gives hope to many young people who dare to start a new career."
