Music blends with national pride at "What Remains" 2024

The concert "What remains forever" 2024 has ended, but the echoes of an impressive program still linger with music listeners on Independence Day, September 2.

On the afternoon of September 2, the national concert Dieu Con Mai 2024 took place at the Hanoi Opera House in the sacred atmosphere of Independence Day. Unlike previous years, Dieu Con Mai 2024 brought international elements to the program for the first time with the participation of the Sun Symphony Orchestra and French conductor Olivier Ochanine.

The flag-raising ceremony with the Tien Quan Ca background is a symbol and an important part of the National Concert What Remains Forever..Van Cao's immortal work was arranged by musician Tran Manh Hung. The opening act was the song "Praise to President Ho" (composed by Van Cao), performed by the Kosmos Opera Choir.

One of the impressive performances is Marching Far Away.-A work by musician Do Nhuan, arranged by Tran Manh Hung and performed by the Ao Linh group.

In addition to celebrating Independence Day, this year's concert also commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army. Therefore, the heroic song "Hanh quan xa" brought emotion to most of the audience at the Opera House on the afternoon of September 2.

Looking back at the historical years to be more proud of the country and homeland through musical works, singer Trong Tan burned himself out on stage with the work Be Van Dan lives forever. The boys of the group Oplus breathed new life into the song The Ballad of Ho Chi Minh. made famous by the voice of artist Ewan MacColl.

The work Northwest Love Song (music by Bui Duc Hanh, adapted from poem by Cam Giang) is performed by saxophone player An Tran - the youngest artist participating in Dieu Con Mai 2024 also made a strong impression on audiences of all ages.

This is the second time An Tran has performed at What Remains Forever..Although still weak, musician Tran Manh Tuan still went to Hanoi yesterday to cheer and accompany his daughter in her rehearsal at the Opera House.

Besides the appearance of veteran singers, the stage What Remains Forever 2024 also features the first participation of a number of young, talented singers such as singer Nguyen Bao Yen and the group Ao Linh with 5 artists working in the military.

The concert "What remains forever" 2024 ended with beautiful melodies and lyrics filled with love for the homeland of the work "My homeland Vietnam" (composer Do Nhuan). This work was arranged by musician Tran Manh Hung for the symphony orchestra and featured the voices of all the artists performing in the program.
