The program "Journey of Life" was held at Tan Binh Secondary School (Hai Duong City) to celebrate the 10th anniversary of AIA Vietnam implementing this event in Vietnam.
On October 26, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with the Vietnam Children's Fund and AIA Vietnam Insurance Company Limited (AIA Vietnam) to organize the program "Journey of Life". This is the 10th time AIA has implemented this program in Vietnam.
Attending the event were comrades: Ngo Thi Minh, Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Wayne Besant, General Director of AIA Vietnam, representatives of the Vietnam Youth Support Fund, the Traffic Police Department, leaders of Hai Duong City and teachers and students of Tan Binh Secondary School.
At the program, students learned about 4 groups of topics that help build a positive lifestyle, create healthy and active eating habits. They were promoted the message of protecting the living environment through planting trees, sorting waste at source, saving energy... Students and members of AIA Vietnam and AIA Hai Duong General Agency Office participated in games to experience physical training, raise awareness of environmental protection, build an optimistic lifestyle...
On this occasion, AIA Vietnam donated 50 bicycles, 3 insurance contracts (each contract worth 20 million VND) to students in difficult circumstances and donated 216 million VND to the Hai Duong Provincial Children's Fund.
"Journey of Life" is a series of events organized by AIA Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Children's Fund. Over the past 10 years, the program has awarded nearly 23,000 bicycles and more than 700 free life insurance contracts (each contract worth 20 million VND) to disadvantaged children in more than 50 provinces and cities across the country. In Hai Duong alone, over the past 10 years, AIA Vietnam has donated more than 500 bicycles to students and organized hundreds of activities to promote traffic safety and environmental protection for children in the province...
