72 accidents involving children in Hai Duong resulted in death

Hai Duong currently has 491,053 children (accounting for 25.09% of the population). Of these, 4,222 are children in special circumstances; 11,940 are children at risk of falling into special and difficult circumstances; 2,817 are children receiving social benefits in the community... Up to now, the whole province has mobilized and connected to sponsor 1,304 orphans and children in difficult circumstances with the amount of money given nearly 10.6 billion VND.

From the beginning of 2023 to the end of June 2024, the whole province had 1,575 accidents and injuries to children, of which 72 cases resulted in death.

To minimize and prevent accidents and injuries to children, from August 19-31, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated to organize propaganda on knowledge of accident and injury prevention for children for more than 900 people including parents, caregivers, children, people working on children at the commune level, collaborators working on children in villages, residential areas, members of local associations and organizations...

The above propaganda activities were specifically deployed in the communes of Doan Ket, Tu Cuong, Chi Lang Nam (Thanh Mien); Cam Van, Cam Dien, Cam Hoang and Luong Dien (Cam Giang); Lien Hong, An Thuong and Tu Minh ward (Hai Duong city).
