On the afternoon of May 5, at the Provincial Sports Gymnasium, the Department of Education and Training and the Hai Duong Education Trade Union jointly awarded prizes for women's volleyball and men's soccer among cadres, teachers, and workers in 2024.
As a result, in the men's football tournament, the Thanh Mien District High School football team won first prize. The Thanh Dong University football team won second prize; the Chi Linh City High School and Hai Duong University teams shared third prize.
The Organizing Committee awarded the title of player with the most goals to athlete Pham Van Huynh, Thanh Dong University and the title of best goalkeeper to athlete Pham Van Nam, Thanh Mien II High School.
In the women's volleyball tournament, Hong Quang High School's volleyball team won the championship for the second consecutive year. Tu Ky High School's volleyball team won second prize; third prize went to Chi Linh High School and Kinh Mon II High School.
The Organizing Committee awarded the title of Miss Volleyball of the Women's Tournament to athlete Than Thi Cham, Principal of Kinh Mon II High School and the best athlete to Nguyen Thi Hang, Hong Quang High School.
The tournament took place from May 2-5, attracting 330 athletes who are managers, teachers from high schools, continuing education sectors and some universities in the province to compete. Of which, men's soccer had 14 teams with 220 athletes; volleyball had 12 teams with 120 athletes.

Through the tournament results, the Organizing Committee will send excellent athletes to participate in higher tournaments of the industry union and the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation.
This is one of the activities to celebrate the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2024), the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); and the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024).
