The left dike section of Kinh Mon River (Hai Duong) through Lac Long commune needs to be upgraded soon to serve travel needs and prevent natural disasters.
The dike section on the left of Kinh Mon River through Lac Long Commune is about 3 km long, with a surface width of only 3.5 m. In addition to its task of flood and storm prevention, this dike section is also an important traffic route serving the production and livelihood of Lac Long residents and neighboring localities.
However, this dike has been degraded for many years and has not been invested in for repair or upgrading. The dike surface has many "potholes" and "buffalo ridges" that can be dangerous for people moving through here.
This is also the narrowest and weakest dike section on the left dike of Kinh Mon River, affecting the disaster prevention capacity of the entire route.
