3 ways to "Send Tet gifts" to 1.2 million poor people, severely affected by storms and floods

The "Send Tet Gifts" campaign is an activity within the framework of the "Tet Charity" movement organized annually by the Vietnam Red Cross Society. The campaign will provide material and spiritual support to the poor, people in difficult circumstances and vulnerable groups, helping them have a full and warm Tet.

The goal of this year's "Send Tet gifts" campaign is to provide material and spiritual support to more than 1.2 million poor and disadvantaged people, especially communities severely affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi) and storm circulation in the northern provinces in 2024.

The campaign has received support from organizations and individuals at home and abroad, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and humanity in society and is still accepting contributions.

According to the representative of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, there are 3 ways to participate in the "Send Tet gifts" campaign.

The first way is "Scan QR code - Send Tet gifts." Accordingly, all Vietnamese citizens can easily contribute through e-banking applications or e-wallets. Participants can transfer donations to the account of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society: Account name: TW HOI CHU THAP DO VIET NAM; Account number: 2022 at Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB).

In addition, all citizens can scan the QR code at 3,700 WINMART stores and 70 Saigon Co.op supermarkets nationwide to support the campaign.

The second way is to participate in "Millions of Compassionate Steps" - "Send Tet Gifts". This is a free running campaign on the vRace platform organized by the Vietnam Red Cross Society in collaboration with vRace and FPT Online. The campaign is part of the series of activities of the Tet Charity Movement for the Year of the Snake 2025.

Participants can register via the website and run or walk freely at any time to accumulate distance. Each kilometer will be converted into 1,000 VND, helping to mobilize businesses to contribute to the campaign's humanitarian goals.

The third way is to participate in the program “End of year shipment - Send Tet gifts”. The Vietnam Red Cross Society calls on businesses, business households, retailers and online sellers to register to participate in free booths at the Charity Tet Market sessions. The booths will prioritize providing Tet necessities to people in need. Sponsoring units will have booths to display products, people will receive vouchers and can directly receive goods at the Charity Tet Market for free.

Sponsoring units can register via hotline: 0915 068 666. Registration information includes: Unit name; Content of sponsored goods; Quantity of goods (from 200 units or more); Beneficiary locality; Form of sponsorship.

The Red Cross will receive goods in localities and coordinate to organize the Zero-VND Tet Market, helping people receive goods for free, bringing a complete Tet to disadvantaged families.
