2 karaoke bars in Hai Duong are eligible to reopen

According to information obtained by Hai Duong Newspaper reporters, Hai Duong currently has 2 karaoke bars that have met the conditions and are back in operation.

These two karaoke bars are Nu Hoang (18 rooms) in Hiep Son ward and Phuong Hong (2 rooms) in An Luu ward, both in Kinh Mon town.

Previously, the two shops were suspended due to failing to ensure fire safety, fire prevention, and rescue. After that, the shop owners focused on overcoming the limitations and passed inspection by the authorities to meet the conditions to resume operations.

According to statistics compiled by the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Hai Duong Provincial Police), as of April 2023, Hai Duong province had 367 karaoke service establishments that were suspended or voluntarily stopped operating. Currently, apart from the 2 karaoke bars in Kinh Mon, no other localities have met the required conditions to resume operations. Many bars have changed their purpose of use.
