According to the report of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, in Hai Duong province, there are currently 17 areas of landfill materials that need to auction mineral exploitation rights before granting licenses.
Total reserves of the 17 areas mentioned above are about 50,526 million m3landfill, 3.954 million m3Sand and 3.14 million m3other minerals
Of which, 13 areas must complete procedures before auctioning mineral exploitation rights with reserves of about 30.379 million m3landfill and 3,954 million m³ of landfill sand.
Specifically, in Kinh Mon town, there are 3 mines of hill soil, sand for filling materials, clay for making bricks and tiles at Hung Con mountain in Phu Thu ward, Mot mountain in Thai Thinh ward and Kinh Mon river bank in Tran Xa village, Lac Long commune. The total area of 3 mines is 15 hectares with a total reserve of 0.837 million m3.3.
Chi Linh City has 5 hill mines that need to auction exploitation rights located in the wards. Hoang Tien, Van An, Chi Minh, Hoang Tan, Ben Tam and An Lac. Total area is 73,9587 ha, total reserve is 13,959 million m3.
In addition, in Chi Linh, there are also hill mines that need to adjust the prohibited area, temporarily ban mineral activities and auction the right to exploit minerals at Dai Han mountain, Ho Da hill expansion area, Co Khi hill area in Van Duc, Van An, Chi Minh, Sao Do wards. The total area of these mines is 73.82 hectares, the total reserve is 15.817 million m3.3.
In Tu Ky district, there are black sand and sandy clay mines used as filling materials in Tu Xuyen commune, covering an area of 62.47 hectares, with reserves of 3.39 million m³. In Bo Nong village, Tuan Viet commune (Kim Thanh), there is Bai Thoi, covering an area of 20 hectares, with reserves of 0.33 million m³.3.
If these mines are auctioned and mining rights are granted, it will help relieve the "thirst" for landfill materials in the province in recent times.
