On August 4, 2022, Viettel Telecom Corporation (Viettel Telecom) officially provided the vTag smart positioning device. This device uses 3-in-1 positioning technology including: GPS, Wifi, LBS. Therefore, vTag possesses many outstanding features such as: automatically saving movement history, motion sensor, setting up safe zones, SOS warning, smart control... provided for the purpose of tracing, helping customers manage assets, pets and personal items. In addition, with a beautiful, compact and convenient design, vTag can also be applied to support monitoring of the elderly with poor memory and children anytime, anywhere. In addition, vTag is also equipped with a Viettel eSIM with an unlimited data package, ensuring continuous, uninterrupted connection. In particular, the same vTag account allows monitoring of multiple devices and many different objects. Besides, vTag also has a great advantage of saving energy with an average battery life of 7-10 days.
Sharing about the product's difference, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tinh, Deputy General Director of Viettel Telecom, said that vTag uses GPS satellite positioning technology and mobile waves to help monitor targets anytime, anywhere. Meanwhile, other object-finding devices on the market today mainly use Bluetooth technology and can only detect when near a compatible smartphone (distance of 10-20m). Thus, the vTag device can solve the problem of unlimited connectivity when only mobile waves are needed.
