Vietnam Airlines Group opens sale of 1.5 million flight tickets for Lunar New Year 2025

To meet people's travel needs during the 2025 Lunar New Year, Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO) has opened early sales of nearly 1.5 million seats on the entire domestic flight network for the travel period from January 13 to February 12, 2025 (ie December 14 to January 15).

This is the first round of ticket sales based on the current flight schedule approval by the authorities. Vietnam Airlines and other airlines will regularly monitor market demand, fleet resources, and slot allocation from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to open subsequent sales rounds and widely announce them to people for proactive and convenient travel at the end of the year.

Peak flights during the 2025 Lunar New Year will be concentrated between the three major cities of Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City with many provinces and cities such as Hai Phong, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Pleiku, Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, Phu Quoc, etc. Passengers can buy tickets for the 2025 Lunar New Year from today, September 16, on the website, mobile application, ticket offices, or official agents of Vietnam Airlines.

For convenient travel and a desired schedule, Vietnam Airlines encourages passengers to proactively plan and book, buy tickets early and avoid buying fake tickets, tickets with inflated prices during the Tet peak season.
