VinFast's small SUV sales overwhelm Toyota and Kia

More than 9,000 VinFast small SUVs were sold in the first two months of 2025, accounting for about 56% of the market share, followed by Toyota with 14% and Kia with 10%.

VinFast VF 5 sales double those of its gasoline competitors combined

After 8 months, VF 5 sold about 17,800 units, nearly double the total 9,099 units of Kia Sonet, Toyota Raize and Hyundai Venue.
