U13 and U11 Hai Duong both only aim to reach the final round of the national tournament.

On the evening of June 6, in Bac Giang City, the Vietnam Football Federation held a draw to divide the qualifying round of the National Children's Football Tournament. U13 HADUWACO Hai Duong was placed in Group B, which was considered quite difficult by Hai Duong's coaches.

Specifically, Hai Duong is in the same group with Nam Dinh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi Club, Hanoi and Luxury Ha Long. Except for the "lightweight" community football team Luxury Ha Long, the remaining teams are of equal quality and have a rich tradition in this football tournament. On June 8, U13 HADUWACO Hai Duong will have its opening match against Luxury Ha Long at 3:00 p.m. After that, the team will continue to face Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hanoi Club, Nam Dinh, respectively on June 10, 12, 14 and 16. The teams that make it to the final round will include the first and second place teams of each group and the third highest ranked team.

After the U13 team, on June 7, the Gia Bao Hai Duong U11 team will continue to be present in Bac Giang to participate in the qualifying round of the National Children's Football Tournament as the third-placed team of the previous season.

Before this year's season, the U11 and U13 teams had a complete change of coaching staff. Coach Phan Yen - Nguyen Van Hai of U11 replaced Coach Tran Huu Hung - Hoang Manh Kien of U13 and vice versa. Because of this change and the Organizing Committee not choosing seeded teams but randomly drawing lots, the strong teams nationwide may have to eliminate each other right from the group stage, causing the teams to only set modest goals for this year's season.
