Rearrange the personnel of both coaching staffs

About a month ago, the Hai Duong Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center announced the swap of coaching staff between the two football teams U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong and U13 HADUWACO Hai Duong. Specifically, coaches Phan Yen and Nguyen Van Hai of U13 HADUWACO Hai Duong will transfer to coach and train U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong. Coaches Tran Huu Hung and Hoang Manh Kien of U11 will transfer to coach and train U13 HADUWACO Hai Duong.

In fact, this is just the return of coach Phan Yen, because many years ago he led U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong. But it is worth noting that this time, coach Phan Yen only participates as an assistant coach for head coach Nguyen Van Hai. This is said to be so that Mr. Phan Yen has time to devote to the Hai Duong futsal team, which was recently established.

In the past, it was coach Phan Yen who brought glory to U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong with 5 national championships and many times winning second and third place. But since Mr. Phan Yen took over the U13 HADUWACO Hai Duong team, the best achievement of this team is only second place.

With coach Tran Huu Hung, since coaching and training U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong, he has brought the team to the finals many times, but has never stepped onto the highest podium. Therefore, the swap of coaching staff between the two teams this time is expected to bring new winds. However, many fans are wondering whether the two coaching staffs can immediately catch up with the new team?

From the players' perspective, the players of both teams also need time to adapt to the training plan set out by the coaching staff. Because each coach has his own football philosophy, coaching style, and personality to apply to each team.

Expect better results

It is normal for coaching staff to change in football. There are very good coaches but they do not necessarily lead the team to success, on the contrary, there are less famous coaches but they bring achievements to the team.

The swap of coaching staff between the two youth football teams of Hai Duong is expected to bring positive changes, specifically improving the performance that has been stagnant in recent years.

The immediate advantage is that both the coaching staff and the players of both U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong and U13 HADUWACO Hai Duong are no longer strangers, as they practice together every day at the same location. Therefore, when taking over the new team, the coaches do not take too much time to guide their students according to their lesson plans. The players also do not take much time to get acquainted with the coaching staff. In addition, all 4 members of the 2 coaching staff are experienced and successful coaches. They have been together for many years, dedicating their hearts to making a name for Hai Duong youth football. The national youth football playground is also very familiar to these coaches, as every season they participate and lead the teams deep into the tournaments.

However, the coaching staff swap will certainly cause some disruption to the teams, especially the U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong team. Although head coach Nguyen Van Hai of this team has worked closely with experienced coach Phan Yen for many years, this is the first time he has led the team as captain. Stepping into a youth football field that is increasingly expanding in quantity and improving in professional quality, head coach Nguyen Van Hai will certainly be quite bewildered. And to bring U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong to the highest position like coach Phan Yen did, he will still have a lot of work to do.

Objectively, Hai Duong youth football teams are facing strong investment from localities, units, and youth football centers. In places that do not have a rich tradition of youth football, there have recently been quality teams participating in the final round of the national youth and children's football tournament. In particular, community football centers participating in this playground make the competition increasingly fierce. The final round of the 2023 National Children's Football Tournament in late July and early August witnessed the strong rise of these teams. In the match for the ticket to the final, U11 Gia Bao Hai Duong was defeated by the lower-rated team U11 Hung Yen. In the final match, U11 Hung Yen was surpassed by the community team U11 Navy Phu Nhuan (Ho Chi Minh City) and lost the championship trophy.

Both the U11 and U13 Hai Duong teams currently have about 60 players living, staying, and practicing daily at the Hai Duong Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center. These are quality players, carefully selected through tournaments. These players will be the backbone of the two teams in the upcoming national season. The swap of the U11 and U13 coaching staff will certainly cause certain disruptions, but fans always believe that with a long tradition and with dedicated coaches, Hai Duong youth football will have a new vitality to achieve the highest results in the new season.
