Tan Tien Commune has an area of ​​268.04 hectares, 1,491 households with 4,676 people. The commune is located on both sides of provincial road 395, bordering Ngoc Son and Gia Xuyen communes (Hai Duong city), Dai Son commune (Tu Ky), so it has potential complex factors in terms of security and order, especially inter-district crimes. Many people still lack awareness, especially the situation of teenagers gathering to race, violating traffic laws... Faced with the above situation, the Commune Police have advised the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tan Tien Commune to build a model of a Youth Volunteer Team to participate in ensuring security and order with 10 members.

After nearly 2 years of operation, the team and its professional staff have guided and ensured traffic order and safety for students and workers. The team has captured and provided information to the Commune Police to successfully mediate 6 family conflicts; discovered and coordinated the education of 16 students who violated the law such as illegally setting off fireworks, racing, weaving, and weaving.

The team proactively detected, coordinated with the Commune Police, Commune Youth Union and directly managed, educated, and successfully reformed 1 bad student. Handed over to the Commune Police, requested the School Board to coordinate in managing and educating 2 students who illegally set off fireworks; 1 student violated the code of conduct. Discovered 5 cases of taking advantage of people's lack of knowledge to trade in goods of unknown origin. Handed over to the police to file administrative cases of 3 cases of illegal dumping of waste.

Promoting the role of youth volunteers, the team actively propagates and mobilizes youth union members and people to participate in the movement "Youth join hands to build new countryside". In addition, the team also organizes many other activities such as visiting and giving gifts to families with preferential policies and people with meritorious services on holidays and Tet; donating blood voluntarily; coordinating meetings to encourage youth union members to join the army, activating electronic identification accounts...

The work of the Youth Volunteer Team participating in ensuring security and order in Tan Tien commune has been recognized by the people and all levels and sectors. Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh in Tam Luong village said: "Since this model was established, I have seen that security and order in the commune have been much more stable than before. Every time I go to pick up my children, I feel safer because the school gate as well as traffic in the commune are strictly implemented."

Mr. Thanh's feelings are also the feelings of many people in Tan Tien commune towards the above model. Mr. Bui Duc Long, Chief of Tan Tien Commune Police, commented: "The model's operation is very effective, helping the police in many activities. In 2023, the commune did not have any criminal cases, and security and order were maintained."

To make the model work effectively, Ms. Tran Thi May Hong, Secretary of the Tan Tien Commune Youth Union, shared: "The members participating in the model are enthusiastic, not afraid of difficulties or hardships, and regularly closely follow people's activities to promptly detect and notify authorities of suspicious cases that do not strictly comply with the provisions of the law. The team members also directly mobilize and reform violators to help them become better."

The model of Tan Tien youth has been recognized by the Provincial Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building the Movement of All People Protecting National Security (referred to as Provincial Steering Committee 138) as one of the 5 typical models associated with the work of preventing crime and social evils in 2023; The Ministry of Public Security selected it as a typical model in the movement of All People Protecting Security and Order of the whole country.
