During the holidays, many cultural and artistic activities took place in Hai Duong, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, meeting the people's need for spiritual and cultural enjoyment.
"Marching to Saigon" performance by health clubs
To celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023), and the 137th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2023), in recent days, many cultural and artistic activities have taken place throughout the province.
On the morning of April 30, the Hai Duong Province Cultural and Arts Center coordinated to organize a Cheo performance in Nhan Quyen Commune (Binh Giang). The actors performed Cheo melodies praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, and the country's renewal.
Nhan Quyen is one of the localities with a strong cultural and artistic movement in Binh Giang district. Previously, the locality established and maintained the Lac Hong Art Club, now renamed the Xu Dong Cheo Art Club, focusing mainly on performing and teaching the art of Cheo. The Xu Dong Cheo Art Club currently has 44 members.
The Health Club performs folk dance at the Provincial Cultural and Art Center.
Earlier, on the morning of April 29, at the Hai Duong Province Cultural and Artistic Center, an art and sports program took place, with the participation of 7 clubs: Duong Sinh, Duong Sinh Thanh Dong, Dinh Van Ta, Nguyen Trai, Yoga, Bach Dang, Le Thanh Nghi. The clubs performed 15 dances, folk dances, fan dances; and competed in Chinese chess.
That same evening, a sports dance exchange program took place with the participation of nearly 100 members of Thanh Dong Dance Club and several other clubs in Hai Duong City.
The Dong Xu Cheo Art Club of Nhan Quyen Commune (Binh Giang) performs Cheo tunes.
On this occasion, Hai Duong Province's Cultural and Artistic Center organized mobile propaganda by vehicle with loudspeakers; propaganda art program, highlighting the value of the April 30 Victory, Dien Bien Phu Victory, President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the meaning of International Labor Day 1.5. The propaganda time was organized in 2 phases: phase 1 from April 24 to April 30, phase 2 from May 7 to May 16.
Also on this occasion, the Film Distribution and Screening Center will launch a series of films to celebrate major holidays April 30, May 1, May 7, and May 19, from April 28 to May 20.
