Overwhelmed with happiness when his son was born, People's Artist Tu Long showed off a photo of the baby and posted a long poem on his personal page.
Early morning of July 23, People's Artist Tu Long shared a picture of his newborn son on his personal page along with a very long poem he had just written for the baby:
"The city has fallen asleep
My baby is full term.
Just pray the midwife has a good hand
Let the child greet the world in peace
Artist Tu Long and his newborn son
Mom is in more pain than ever before.
Maybe because I am a man
Struggling on the table with the on-duty crew
Dad stands and sits like no one else.
Waiting for each cry
The clock ticks every second..."
Relieved that both mother and child were safe, in the poem, Tu Long thanked the doctors and his virtuous wife - Ms. Minh Nguyet, a lecturer at the Military University of Culture and Arts. This was the third time she gave birth to a child for her husband Tu Long.
Seven years ago, when his daughter was born, Tu Long was also moved to write a poem for his little princess:
"Son! I will tell you later.
The day I was born, an autumn morning
The sun shines golden on every street corner
The clouds above seem unwilling to fly
Restless anxious confused clumsy
Staying up all night long, dad waited to hear his child cry...
... The first cry was also when father came
Holding my child in my arms, I felt my eyes sting.
