On November 22, through their lawyer, Barbie Hsu and Wang Xiaofei announced their divorce in a joint statement.

"After serious and careful consideration, Mr. Wang Xiaofei and Ms. Barbie Hsu have decided to divorce amicably and have begun the relevant legal procedures.
